I have to move all of my old blogs to here 14

The end of 2008
Can't believe that my last entry was at the begining of April but now already is the last day of this year. Soon would have to say Goodbye 2008.
A lot of things happened last half year. I don't even know how to write it down. Been logged in a few times but then just logged out without saying anything.
To say Goodbye...
My grandparents passed away one after another one in two weeks in May. The saddest part of my life. We lived together since I born. They were both 97 years. At least now I know they are together. SHouldn't be sad. They would want to know we live happily. Sometimes when I back home and realise they aren't at home anymore, I still not use to it. I always know someone would be home all the years but not all the time anymore...
First time I go to France
The best thing is to travel there with my love. Don't know what to put in words but The special one is the special one.
Hopefully next time to France, can go to SOuth of France too. ANd I miss Miao Miao, too.
I am a TaTa now. I seriously dislike children calls me AUNTIE, that got me sounds old but when Little Star called me TaTa Kiki. I just took it. I think she has special right. hehehe...
I am learning French
Learning another language again. After Japanese and German, now i am learning French but I can't speak any japanese and german. Luckily this time, I really can speak some french now. Hope can speak more in future and I better do. hehehe...
Overall...
Sad part can't be changed and let it passed. Happy things keep them and hope can continuous.
Wish everybody has Happy 2009.

My first Boxing class
This is the first time I wore boxing gloves. Almost wanted to take a pic. hahahhaa....
I am surprised myself that I would try this sport. I think that's almost impossible as I mostly only go for yoga or dancing. Anyway, far too different from boxing.
So surprise that actually quite like it. After 10 minutes of the class, I already feel like I want to learn more. That's so fun when you focus on the target and keep hitting on it. All to do is to focus.
After long time with zero sport. This is good to have some move finally. Thanks for the friend who gave me this free lesson and so I tried one new thing. hehehehe

The wind that shakes the Barley
I wanted to give another title for this entry but I think that's better to keep just the name of the film.
'The Wind That Shakes The Barley', one of the films in Hong Kong Internetional Film Festival this year. It's about fighing for independent of Ireland. Honestly, I dont' know much about the history but of course after I know more, I don't dare to say the same joke with Mr. D another. Still remember that he asked me if I know the flag on a book cover., I know him British Flag although I know that's Irish flag. For me that's just a joke but maybe to some people that's not.
The movie was very intense. Some of torture scenceries that I would prefer to cover eyes and ears. That's pretty silly when you see a movie in this way. But the movie is really good. The internal struggle for Cillian Murphy for joining his brother or not. The first wanted to avoid to get involved but ended up with can't get out of it. The conflicts not just bulit up by the time and environment. The part of court and treaty fully reflected how different are their mind set. 'That's easy to talk about what you fight for but do you really know what you are fighting for?' is a line of the script in this film.
War for peace?! I don't know how many people would believe it. It's a contradiction about it. Do you believe that war can bring in peace? The film shows that when they thought they finally got what they want but actually wasn't. The brothers against each other. 'If they take one, we take one back'. When things went extreme. You found that you seems like chased one away but another one just came in. Isn't it sounds familiar. Take a look of some other places that have wars. What kind of reasons they are using? Who are suffering? I am not at the position to judge anything but that just let me think a lot. Not really need to think about where are people from. Since that seems like something in human nature, our dark side. Animals might kill and eat their victims for survival. We dont' just kill but we think about weapons and tortures and what are they for.
Are we really buliding a better world? I wish we really are.
Movie description :
Ireland, 1920. Damien and Teddy are brothers. But while the latter is already the leader of a guerrilla squad fighting for the independence of his motherland, Damien, a medical graduate of University College, would rather further his training at the London hospital where he has found a place. However, shortly before his departure, he happens to witness atrocities committed by the ferocious Black and Tans and finally decides to join the resistance group led by Teddy. The two brothers fight side by side until a truce is signed. But peace is short-lived and when one faction of the freedom-fighters accepts a treaty with the British that is regarded as unfair by the other faction, a civil war ensues, pitting Irishmen against Irishmen, brothers against brothers, Teddy against Damien.... I graduated finally
Happy New Year to everyone.
I haven't posted anything for ages. As last time I was talking about my exam. I just want to let everyone knows that I graduated. hahaha.....But I think I am the worst student as I found myself just passed. But more than 80% of my classmates got credit.
Hopefully, I can start my master in Dec. This is what I really want to do.
Wish me good luck as I am so lazy. I should really work hard.

Do you believe that NO BUTTER IN IRELAND?
I love butter and magarine. When I have dinner roll, I always have a thick spread of butter on it. Yummy!!!!
Mr D always shooks his head when he sees that. He thinks I have very unhealthy diet. So I always tell him that don't get me angry or excited as I will have heart attack. hahaha....
Once he hid up some magarine from me and said seriously, 'Do you know that No Butter in Ireland?' I looked at him and asked him if that's because health issue and so the country bans it. As some countries really bans something that they think it will harm their people. But then Mr D laughed..........He got me.......I am silly!!! Why I would believe that?!
Sometimes I think I am very innocent up to too innocent or silly. Seems too easy to believe what the others said. Maybe that's good or bad, I don't know. But I think this is a bit too silly to believe a western country no butter. hahahaha....and for sure I won't change that. I still love BUTTER
